Magic truffles are a unique naturally occurring psychedelic substance that has been gaining popularity in recent years.
Magic truffles: is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it a magic mushroom? The answer to all three is no!
Essentially, they are dense bunches of mycelium that contain psilocybin. To put it very simply, they are the underdeveloped magic mushroom that many of you likely know and love. Magic truffles can be described as a magic mushroom that has yet to make its grand appearance above Earth’s surface. These hardy little magical babies are harvested underground. Technically speaking, a truffle is not considered a mushroom. I will leave that to the professional mycologists to explain that to you as that is where it becomes complicated!
The amount of psilocybin found in magic truffles is based entirely on the moisture/nutrition contents of the soil, time of harvest, and general conditions. Some are strong while others are weaker, just like magic mushrooms and other naturally occurring psychedelics. When eaten raw, they leave a sour and tart taste in your mouth for a short period of time. Unlike the ungodly taste you experience from magic mushrooms, truffles are nothing in comparison!
So, they are similar to magic mushrooms but also completely different, right? Kind of confusing, but the most important thing to note is they share the exact same psychoactive compound as magic mushrooms; psilocybin.
Just like magic mushrooms, truffles can be made into tea. With the caution of course as you don’t want your psilocybin to break down with the heat!
